The footprint of the MARC covers several local referee societies including: Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Referees, Potomac Society of Rugby Referees,  Virginia Referee Society, and Met NY Referee Society. Fall league matches and spring MARC 7s series events are organized by the MARC and scheduled directly with the referee society. Clubs are directly responsible for contacting their referee society for friendly match requests. Clubs are billed for their home matches usually at end of season. 

All home clubs are responsible for contacting and confirming with assigned referees no later than Wednesday before their match or as deemed by the appropriate society according to their guidelines. All teams must have a club referee who has undergone certification available each weekend in case a referee society is not able to provide a referee.
