A look at the quarterfinal matchups this weekend...

The 2015 Keystone Rugby Conference 15's playoffs will begin this weekend. The teams in the West division and teams in the East division will finally meet in the quarterfinals. Pitt appears to be the favorite after earning the most bonus points in divisional play but who will win it is anybody's guess. The first step is to get past the quarterfinals this weekend and advance to Championship weekend at Shippensburg where the top four teams will square off on Saturday November 14th and Sunday November 15th.

In the West, Pittsburgh will host Villanova. Pittsburgh has played consistent throughout the season and earned the top spot in the West with a 4-0 record. Villanova has played better as a team as the season went on and is primed to make a push in the playoffs.  Also in the West and potentially the match of the week, James Madison will host Rutgers. James Madison has been impressive, lighting up the scoreboard with their attack. And, no one should sleep on Rutgers, as they lost two games by less than 3 points this season and are looking to go deep into the playoffs.

In the East, Saint Joseph's will welcome Lock Haven to Hawk Hill. Saint Joseph's came out on fire but hung on to win two close games against Rutgers and West Chester to finish the season. Lock Haven has struggled this season but as we all learned from Japan/South Africa in the RWC, it can be anybody's game to win. Also in the East, Millersville will travel to Temple.  Both Temple and Millersville have won their last two divisional matches and this match should be a good one.

The winners of the matches this weekend will square off at Championship weekend at Shippensburg. On Saturday, November 14th, the winner of Saint Joseph's/Lock Haven will play the winner of James Madison/Rutgers and the winner of Pitt/Villanova will play the winner of Temple/Millersville. The winners from the semifinals will then play on Sunday, November 15th, for the 2015 Keystone Rugby Conference 15's Championship immediately after the consolation match.

Good luck to all teams!
