Method For Determining Playoff Pairings

(I) Following the conclusion of divisional play, teams in each division (W & E) will be ranked 1-4 based upon points accumulated during divisional play. Order of tie-breakers: (1) Score differential, (2) head-to-head result, (3) number of tries scored, (4) coin flip.

(II) During the first round of playoffs (Oct. 25th in 2014) the pairings will be as follows: Match A - W1 vs. E2, Match B - W2 vs. E1, Match C - W3 vs. E4, and Match D - W4 vs. E3. The home team for each playoff match will be the team with the highest regular season points total. Tie-breakers apply as needed.

(III) During the second round of playoffs (Nov. 1st in 2014) the parings will be as follows: Championship match - Winner of match A vs. winner of match B, Third place match - Loser match A vs. loser match B, Fifth place match - Winner match C vs. winner match D, and Seventh place match - Loser match C vs. loser  match D. The home team for each second round match will be the team with the highest points total including points earned during week one of the playoffs. Tie-breakers apply as needed.

(IV) The league champion will have the right to represent the KRC in any regional or national-level post-season play. In the event the league champion is not able to represent the KRC in post-season play, the team finishing second may take their place, and so on until a representative team is determined.
