Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference

The MARC will again be sending a 7's Team to the NSCRO 7's Conference All-Star National Championship Tournament at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. January 19th and 20th, 2019. Last year the MARC All Star team had an impressive showing finishing the tournament in 4th place.

In 2019 the MARC team looks formidable with players from York College of PA., University of Scranton, Marywood University, and Catholic University. The All-Star Team offers a combination of speed, size, and ability that will offer tough competition to the talented sides they will meet at this National Championship Event. The coaching staff includes Joanne Liu from Scion Rugby Academy, John Gulden from Marywood University, Alex Schaefer from Catholic University, and Ashley Letten from F&M College.

The NSCRO 7’s Conference All-Star National Championship offers talented players from across the country the opportunity to play in a National Championship, be Selected for the NSCRO 7’s National Team, be seen by selectors from top Academy Programs such as Scion, and the USA National Team. It also offers a level of rugby and an experience that is unequal to anything that is available to any other college divisions.

The team would like to thank the MARC for providing the opportunity, financial assistance, and team kit to the All-Star Team. It would also like to extend its gratitude to all the coaches that have sacrificed their time and made a commitment to the players and the team.
