Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference

Championship Weekend for D1AA is finally here! All remaining D1AA matches will played at Temple University - Ambler Campus on Saturday November 4th (Semi's) and Sunday November 5th (Championship/Consolation).  With the quarterfinals completed last weekend, the winners will continue on to a Cup/Championship  final four while the losers will head to a consolation Bowl bracket. 

In the Cup final four, West Chester, who had an impressive win against Pitt in the quarterfinals, will take on Saint Joseph's (1130AM).  This will be a rematch of last years semifinal and should be a good match as West Chester is firing on all cylinders.  In the other semifinal match, Temple, who had an impressive win over West Virginia, will get a rematch against Rowan (1PM). Rowan bested Temple in divisional play earlier in the year and has been a strong contender after making the jump from D2 to D1 this year. In the Bowl bracket, Pitt will look to rebound against Villanova in one of the semifinal matches (10AM) and IUP will take on West Virginia in the other semifinal match (230PM). 

On Sunday, the losers from the Bowl semifinals will play for the SHIELD at 10AM and the winners will play for the BOWL at 1130AM.  Then the losers from the Cup semifinal will play for the PLATE at 1PM. And at 230PM, the winners from the Cup seminfinal will play for the 2017 MARC D1AA Fall 15's Championship!!! 

This promises to be an exciting weekend so rugby fans are encouraged to come out and cheer on their team! It is anyone's guess to who wins it. Good luck to all the teams!!!
