Major Collegiate Rugby Merger...

The Mid Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC), Keystone Rugby Conference, and the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) men's teams formerly of the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union have all realigned to play under the MARC title effective for fall 2017. The merger will allow for D1AA, D2, and NSCRO to all play under one collegiate conference roof and give teams the opportunity to move up/down division without having to leave the Conference. The MARC will now feature over 50 collegiate rugby teams with over 2,000 student-athletes.

Teams will start this September under the new MARC title.  Each division will be not only be competing for a their respective MARC Division Title but also for an opportunity to represent the MARC at USA Rugby Collegiate Nationals and/or the NSCRO Championships. In addition, there will be MARC All Star opportunities for players this December and some skill camps are in the works.

Fans are encouraged to follow along the MARC's media platforms which includes the new website www.marc-rugby.org  The website will be similar to the Keystone site in that scores, stats, and news/match reports will all be added weekly. John Sciotto of Temple will be the D1AA College Coordinator, Bill Gregory of the University of Scranton will be the Division 2 Men's College Coordinator, Ashley Letten will be the MARC Women's Collegiate Coordinator and Dr. Jon Niles of Susquehanna University will be the NSCRO Men's College Coordinator.

This is an exciting opportunity for the MARC as competition is set to kickoff this on September 9th. Good luck to all teams and for more bullet points about the MARC, see below:
