Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference

On October 29th and 30th, Temple hosted the Keystone Rugby Conference Championship Weekend at their Ambler Campus.  All 8 teams were present and playing for hardware on Sunday.

On Saturday, Rutgers rallied back to beat Temple in one of the CUP semi finals and Saint Joseph's beat West Chester in the other CUP semi final match.  In the BOWL semi finals, Villanova beat Millersville and Pittsburgh beat Lock Haven.

On Sunday, the first match of the day was for the SHIELD between Lock Haven and Millersville. Both teams played tough but Millersville would go on to win the match. In the BOWL final, Pitt and Villanova battled it out with Pitt going on to win a close one 26-21.  In the PLATE semi final, the hosts Temple, ran away with it against West Chester.  And in the CUP, Rutgers and Saint Joseph's slugged it out before Saint Joseph's pulled away and secured the Conference Chamionship title.

The weekend was filled with some great rugby. Good luck to Saint Joseph's as they head to Nationals and good luck to our other teams as they continue the season which may include a stop at the ACRC Bowl Series in New York.
