Recap from the MARC D2 Men 7's Series...

After a 3rd place run at the 2018 USA rugby National championship and with the loss of some key players the Huskies were looking at a rebuilding year. Unsatisfied with their fall 15s playoff result they decided to come out and be the most consistent team in the MARC D2 sevens series. The Huskies took the first leg of the tournament over a tough Moravian side. In the second leg they fell short in the finals against a strong Villanova side. With Moravian and Scranton hot on pursuit this second place finish was a pivotal moment in defending their championship. Moravian went on to win the final leg at Bloomsburg but fell short in the final standings.  Bloomsburg takes the MARC 7s series for the second straight year and qualifies for USA rugby 7s nationals. Some of Bloomsburg standout players were Andrew Aiello (16 tries),Marcus Morrison  (10 tries) and Jared Bomba (9 tries).
